This is a problem when you need your hardware’s maximum performance to run a PC game. Don’t bother trying to install the latest PC games in a virtual machine.Wine: Wine is a compatibility layer that allows you to. Modern virtual machine programs have improved support for 3D graphics, but 3D graphics will still run much more slowly than they would in Boot Camp.If you have older games that aren’t too demanding on your hardware — or perhaps games that don’t require 3D acceleration at all — they may run well in a virtual machine. However, virtual machines add overhead. Can you play windows xp games on mac os

Hi guys,
I recently got an AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable. It's hooked up to my PS4 and then connected to my PC via active USB extension cable. When I try to add it as a source in OBS, I select properties in order to select the device, and then my PC makes a sound like USB has been pulled out and I get nothing through on the preview. I get the USB plugging in and out noise around five times before Windows 10 tells me:
'USB device not recognised -
The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it.'
The OBS log files (added at bottom of post) say 'device already in use', despite it not being open in any other applications (that I'm aware of). I'm already using the 32bit version of OBS so it's not that.
If I open up the AVerMedia Stream Engine I can see my device listed with the correct settings, so the PC can see the device. I close this before trying to add it as a video source in OBS (so Stream Engine isn't using the device).
Things I have already tried:
- Uninstalling/reinstalling drivers
- Uninstalling/reinstalling Stream Engine
- Uninstalling/reinstalling OBS Studio
- Running OBS in admin mode
- Turning off preview whilst trying to add source
- Making source not visible and then visible again (with 'Deactivate when not showing' ticked)
- Closing Chrome and making sure it's not running in the background with Task Manager, same with Skype
- Unplugging USB, adding video capture device to my sources, then replugging USB and trying to configure it
- Setting the source device as both 'AVerMedia C875 Capture' AND 'LGP Stream Engine' (same result)
- Updating drivers on all my USB ports/hubs etc. through Device Manager
I think that's it.. This is my second day of trying to fix it so I may have missed something else I tried! Does anyone have any ideas? Please! I've been Googling this like crazy and nothing seems to work for me.
Thanks.

I see there is a Mac setup tool for the LGP2+ in the utility section of the downloads page for the device. I’ve downloaded and run this on my Mac and I’m able to adjust the device settings. However, OBS Studio does not recognize the device at all, making streaming all but impossible.
